Digital X-rays

In the Dowagiac location we have digital x-rays, which means virtually no radiation, you would receive more radiation walking in from the parking lot from the sun.  We have different size sensors to fit different size patients.

Because our practice is dedicated to providing you with the safest and most convenient treatment options available, we utilize advanced digital X-ray technology in our Dowagiac office.

Digital X-rays provide several advanced imaging options designed to save time, provide clearer dental photos, and expose patients to less radiation than traditional X-ray technology.

We also have a digital panorex machine in the Dowagiac location, which we normally would take a panorex x-ray every 3-5 years.

Panorex (or PAN) x-rays allow Dr. Cripe to see what is happening beneath the tissue in your mouth, diagnose your oral condition, detect hidden abnormalities and provide an excellent baseline for long term dental health..

Pans are a common part of a dental visit and enables doctor to examine for diseases such as oral cancer, sinus infections, gum disease and jaw joint pain.

Many hidden diseases that go undetected for a long period of time can be caught at an early, treatable stage through panoramic x-ray diagnostics.
